We love when out of town clients contact me to help pull off a big surprise. Terri’s husband was turning the big 6-Oh and she wanted to surprise him by bringing their family and friends from Nashville to the beach to celebrate him for his birthday.
The party took place at The Henderson’s rooftop terrace. You cannot get a better view than there! It was a beautiful day in October and the sunset showed off for us that night.
Flowers were kept simple and white with woodland accents to help make it a little more manly. Terri wanted to use the colors of her husband’s company to accent the decor of the party. Balloon garlands were used to wrap the columns of the rooftop to make a statement.
The linens used are The Henderson’s standard linens. Aren’t they gorgeous!?
We had a great time getting things in for the party. We had cardboard cut outs of his face for everyone to use when they surprised him and life size cut outs placed throughout the space.
There was food, beverages, live music and the best cake you’ve ever tasted in your life. (So good, the birthday boy asked for it for breakfast the next day!) I think we pulled off a great surprise! We hope 60 has been good to you Gary!
