The Barn at Water Oaks, Laurel Hill, Florida
When I decided to open my business, Layce was the first one to come to me and trust me to do the flowers for her wedding. It’s a blind trust like that from someone that really means the world to someone. Thank you Layce for trusting my creative abilities and having a part in your special day.
It was a very wet and rainy day in October when Layce and Angus got married. It rained on our wedding day too many years ago so I told her it was all that more special that they will have a story to tell. The wind was whipping and some last minute audibles had to be made, but at the end of the day everything was perfect. The colors of the wedding were champagne, dusty blue and navy. Bridesmaids wore floor-length champagne gowns and the groomsmen wore navy tailored suits.
The bridal bouquet consisted of hydrangeas, cappuccino roses, playa blanca roses and eucalyptus. The groom’s boutonniere was a mix of eucalyptus.
The ceremony took place in the outdoor chapel at The Barn at Water Oaks. We did a large greenery piece for the arbor. For pew markers we did bundles of various eucalyptus tied with champagne ribbon.
After the ceremony guests entered the main room adorned with dusty blue linens, gold accents, flowers and candles. Their sweetheart table had a custom draped garland of eucalyptus.
Congratulations Layce & Angus!
