Reception at Residence
Lindsey and I became fast friends as we planned her wedding. Our paths barely missed when I was leaving the Sheriff’s Office and she started working there. She and Jeff couldn’t be more perfect for each other and it was an honor to be part of their special day!
It was the coldest November day I remember in a while. The sun was out but it was freezing. The wedding was taking place at the Methodist Church in DeFuniak Springs. The wedding colors were grey and navy. Bridesmaids wore long navy chiffon dresses and the groomsmen wore tailored grey suits.
Lindsey’s bridal bouquet was all white with tiny accents of grey, hand tied with her baby bonnet-turned-wedding handkerchief and her late daddy’s wedding ring. It was so special.
The ceremony didn’t need much for decoration because look at these stained glass windows! We ended up doing simple white arrangements on each side of the altar.
After the ceremony, guests were invited to go to the Bride and Groom’s residence for the reception. Jeff owns a construction company and build a magnificent party barn to host their celebration. Big Day Rentals was contracted to do the tables, furniture and lighting. Centerpieces were lanterns with a hydrangea floral base.
Reception details such as signature drink menus and favors for the guests included koozies of all sizes were sure to get the party started. Ketchums Catering had the best wedding spread I’ve ever seen!
The Newlyweds finished the night with a sparkler send off!
