Audrey Hepburn once said, “The best thing to hold onto in life is each other.” That couldn’t be more true for these two special people. I’ve known Mary Claire since she was 10 years old. In a sense, she’s like my own child. She met Pearson when she was a sophomore in high school and they have been together every waking minute since. They are the stories you hear about. Pearson is the first and only boy (now man) she’s ever dated. I met Pearson right after they started dating and in a way, he’s also like my child. Needless to say, I was there sneaking photos of their engagement and there was no way I wasn’t a part of the wedding planning and execution. We immediately started planning and the creative ideas and brainstorming sessions were in full force.
May 31, 2025 my girl, married my boy, the love of her life, at Belforest Pointe in Daphne, Alabama. It was a magical day full of all the people and things they love.

So let’s talk about the planning that went into this!

We first settled on a color palette from dresses, to florals to the crest and monogram we would use on everything print related.

While I was designing all the custom print items (see our customization gallery), a venue (Belforest Pointe) was booked, photographer (Emma Kent Photography) was scheduled and the catering (Georgia Roussos Catering) menu was decided . Custom items created were invitations, programs, signage, coasters, cups, napkins, drink stirrers, koozies, pillows, crossword and trucker hats.

Mary Claire’s dad, Mike, passed away several years ago, so honoring him was definitely at the forefront of our mind. He was most definitely there in spirit during her special day and I know he loved Pearson like he was already his son. Mike had a special seat for the ceremony, a charm was displayed on her bouquet and his watch was worn by Pearson.

The ceremony was officiated by Mike’s brother Mark. It was sweet, personal and the Lord’s spirit was felt.

Activities were very important to the bride to make sure that all guests had a great time. From corn hole and the custom crossword puzzle that was about our happy couple, to the phone you leave a voicemail to the couple throughout the night. It was a great way to keep guests entertained while golden hour pictures were being taken.

The reception was a sea of French blue, florals and candlelight. Not a detail was missed in making this an event guests would talk about for weeks to come.

The cake needs a moment all to herself. We had a custom edible monogram made for the cake and did a cake meadow to surround it on its table.

The last thing that was most important to the bride and groom was a great band (iSing Live Band) to keep the party going. We adorned the stage with large florals and busted out all the dance floor props. From heart-shaped glasses, to foam wands to custom trucker hats. I would say it was a night to remember!

At the end of the night, a sparkler send off and a getaway bronco whisked them away to spend their first night of forever. I love you both and wish you a lifetime of happiness!
