Beau Chene Ranch, Westville, Florida
December 14th was a gorgeous day for a wedding! Shalyn and I spent months preparing for this day. It’s not every day that a bride comes to you months in advance with a book of printed things she wants to make happen. (I love you for it Shalyn!)
The wedding colors were: burgundy, dusty rose, dusty blue and champagne. Bridesmaids all wore a mixture of those colors and the groomsmen wore grey.
Shalyn’s bridal bouquet had pink protea, safari sunset, blue thistle, quicksand roses, cedar and eucalyptus. It was hand-tied and had long chiffon tails in her wedding colors. Taylor had a boutonniere with eucalyptus and blue thistle.
The ceremony took place on the ranch under a beautiful oak tree and afterward guests were relocating to the barn for the reception. Wooden farmhouse-style tables had dusty blue cheese cloth with vintage china and drinkware in various colors. Wooden boxes of florals and vintage bottles adorned the tables. It was beautiful. We also did some custom menu chalkboards for their buffet.
The cake was the most magnificent thing I have ever seen. Donna Hicks at Frosted Acres Bakery was responsible for this beauty.
Congratulations Shalyn & Taylor!
